Terms and Conditions

A pool opening appointment with Ohana entitles from 15 to 90 minutes of time with two servicemen. They will remove your cover and any winter equipment, as well as inspect, prepare, and start up your pump and filter (as well as any accessories like a heater, automatic chlorinator, etc.) for the summer season, as long as they are able to. The opening crew will also perform light cleaning; however, a pool opening appointment is not a pool cleaning appointment. The crew will pole and net out as much debris as possible in their allotted time, and if they can see the bottom of the pool, will vacuum lightly as well. Our pool opening crew opens up to 10 pools a day during opening season, and allot no more than 90 minutes per opening. Anything more requires an additional service call for extenuating circumstances. A pool opening appointment also includes storing of winter equipment and reinstallation of any accessories that have been stored over the winter, including but not limited to: ladders, handrails, lights, diving boards, ropes and floats. Finally, the crew will add appropriate opening chemicals for the water condition. Included in the price is one case of pool shock and one bottle of algaecide, anything additional will be added to the pool opening invoice.
