A standard pool opening appointment with Ohana Pools, Spas and Billiards includes 15 to 90 minutes of service time with two technicians. During the visit, our crew will:
-Remove your winter cover and related equipment.
-Inspect, prepare and start your pump filter and accessories (such as heaters, chlorinators, or automation systems) if they are able to.
-Perform a light cleaning includling skimming, netting, limited vacuuming if the pool bottom is visible.
-Store winter accessories (ladders, handrails, lights, diving boards, ropes, floats, etc).
-Add standard opening chemicals to balance and treat the water.
Please note: A Pool opening is not a deep-cleaning service. Crews open multiple pools daily during opening season and allot no more than 90 minutes per pool. Any additional cleaning or repairs beyond the standard opening may require a separate service visit and additional charges. This includes any extensive broken plumbing, water on the cover that takes extended time to drain, or excessive debris on the cover that makes it too heavy to remove easily or safely. Excessive debris on the cover will be attempted to be removed and will be left on the nearest softscape surface unless an empty trash can large enough for the debris is supplied; this may result in additional charges.
Each pool opening includes on case of pool shock and one bottle of algaecide. Any additional chemicals or products used will be billed separately.
All openings are weather dependent and scheduled upon a first-come-first-served basis. Power and water must be available at the time of service. Additional labor, cleaning, or parts outsdie of standard opening scope may result in additional charges. Ohana is not liable for any pool or equipment damage found during pool opening due to frozen plumbing, winter weather, or improperly balanced water before closing.
